The Annual General Meetings (AGMs) for KSGSA and KGSG CIC will both be held on:

  • Thursday 21st November 2024 from 7.30pm
  • at St Matthew’s Church Hall, 27 St Petersburgh Place, London W2 4LA.

All members, keyholders and those with an interest in the gardens are very welcome to attend. This is your chance to have your say on the running of the gardens and the rules governing their use. We hope to see all member properties well represented. It is also possible to attend by Zoom, using the link below:

Relevant papers for the meeting are posted below.  If you have any problems accessing them, please contact wendywyver@icloud.com and we will send them to you direct. These include:

  • the formal Calling Notice covering both AGMs; the draft minutes of the 2023 KGSGA AGM and the 2024 KGSG CIC EGM ;
  • nomination forms for the KGSG CIC Board of Directors and the KGSGA Committee (as well as freeholders, residents are very welcome to stand for election, with their freeholder’s approval);
  • proxy forms for those member freeholds which are unable to attend the meeting;
  • Committee member reports when available;

Accounts for the last financial year are also on our website.

Please note that nominations for people to become directors of KGS Garden CIC  and/or committee members for KGS Garden Association must be sent to wendywyver@icloud.com to arrive no later than 72 hours before the start of the AGM. Proxy forms must be sent to the same address no later than 48 hours before the start of the AGM.

PLEASE NOTE

The KGSG CIC Board of Directors has now taken on responsibility for the management and finances of the gardens, as previously agreed by the KGSGA membership. But we are waiting a few months before winding up KGSGA to allow for receipt of any outstanding invoices. We therefore formally need to elect a KGSGA Committee on 21 November.  We expect this to be the final AGM for KGS Garden Association.

The CIC Directors were elected for a term of 2 years at the EGM on 13 May. However, two of the Directors elected then have since resigned.  There are at least two open positions, so we warmly welcome new applications ahead of this AGM.  We hope that all those standing for election to the CIC Board will also stand for election to the KGSGA Committee, so that the membership of these two bodies remains as similar as possible ahead of KGSGA being wound up. So applicants: please fill in two nomination forms!

Yours sincerely
